This picture forms part of a set of water lily and pond pictures that were all taken at Monet’s garden in Giverny, France, on a lovely summer’s day. The pictures show not just the beauty of the location, but the inspiration behind the famous paintings.
About Sophia Landau
Sophia is an international traveller who has been painting since the late 1970s. She began painting on wood and progressed to stones, glass and ceramics. She added canvas to the list, and enjoys painting pet portraits from photographs, and also painting 'people photographs' with an artistic interpretation. Sophia has some photographic work available for prints and the illustrations from her children's story, The Butterfly: a story for children of all ages by S.P. Landau, available on amazon. She now paints in Affinity Photo on her touch screen and is developing symbolic art on everyday objects, ready for viewing in the IAMTHEMESSENGER Collection.
